Sexual and reproductive health

Personalised contraception

We help you choose the most appropriate contraceptive method for your health, your life situation and your preferences.

There is no perfect method for everyone.

The contraceptive choice should adapt to you, not the other way around. In consultation we review your medical history, age, menstrual pattern, medication, habits, reproductive plans and previous experiences. We also value how important comfort, privacy, cycle control or not having to remember a daily feeding are to you.

Know all the options

We explain barrier, hormonal, intrauterine and long-term methods in an understandable way. We will compare its effectiveness, method of use, duration, advantages, possible effects and ability to protect against sexually transmitted infections. Only condoms offer protection against STIs; It can be used alone or in conjunction with another method.

Hormonal methods

The pill, ring, patch, implant and other hormonal methods are not the same or suitable for everyone. Before indicating them, we assess history and possible contraindications. If you choose one, you will know how to use it, what to do if you forget it, and what changes may appear during adaptation.

Long-acting contraception

The IUD and implant are long-lasting reversible methods that do not require daily action. They can be convenient at very different stages of life, also in people who have not had children, always after an individual assessment. We have specific pages to better understand each option.

Emergency contraception

If there has been an unprotected relationship or a method failure, consult as soon as possible. There are emergency contraception options whose choice depends on the time elapsed and the clinical circumstances. They do not interrupt an already established pregnancy and do not replace a usual method.

Review and monitoring

Choosing a method doesn't mean you have to stick with it if you don't feel well or your needs change. We accompany the adaptation, review unwanted effects and look for alternatives when necessary.
